Wedding Rings

by Ron Tranmer

I placed a ring upon your hand,
and you placed one on mine.
The meaning of this symbol
is easy to define:

Our wedding ring reminds us
of vows made hand in hand.
Promise and commitment
are symbols of each band..

To our vows we will be loyal.
To each other we’ll be true.
To my God I am so grateful,
for blessing me with you.

We’ll proudly wear these rings
everywhere in life we go.
We’re joined now as man and wife
and want the world to know.
