Seasons
by Jill Lemmin
There comes a season in our lives
when we look at what we've done...
and wonder how we'll be received
when this race on earth is won.
We start to look at life through faith
and we search to know God's plan...
material things begin to fade,
when we place our trust in Him.
We long to make a difference
and find reason for our birth...
we can't rely on earthly things
to determine our self worth.
I'm thankful for this season
that has given me such peace...
God has taught me who I am
and I'm happy being "me."
