The Greatest Man
by Andrew A Hide
You are the greatest man alive,
The wisest ever known,
You are the rightful king, to me,
And should sit upon a throne.
For when I was in darkness,
You have been my guiding light,
When everything went wrong,
You have put my world to right.
For when I was uncertain,
You kept me standing firm,
And when I did not know,
You helped me to learn.
You are the greatest man alive,
The best friend I ever had,
I must be the luckiest of men,
To be able to call you, my dad.
