A Child's Questions
by Ellen Bailey
Mom, does Jesus have a home?
Is He in Heaven? Is He all alone?
Mom, are we going up there someday?
Will I get to stay there and play?
Mom, who puts milk in a cow?
Why do we need it anyhow?
Mom, where do the birds fly to?
Why don't they moo like cows do?
Mom, where do people come from?
Are we living where we belong?
Mom, does the sunshine have a mother?
Does it have sisters and brothers?
Mom, is my bed made of iron or wood?
If I say my prayers, will I be good?
Mom, will I dream when I go to sleep?
Will you be here when I wake?
